Timavo began its history in Italy in 1945, dedicated to dyeing and finishing knit fabrics. In 1974 it chose Brazil to open a plant and joined a major economic group in the textile sector, giving rise to Timavo do Brasil. In the 2000s it focused on dyeing seamless garments and T-shirts and introduced rotary printing for knits and wovens.
